Sugi, Greenbelt

Hi Guys! This is my first ever blog post. So, forgive me if the word amateur is oozing out all over this blog post. I guess i decided to pursue this entire blog thing basically for 2 major reason. Firstly, I really love food. I decided to share to you guys my love of food and it's something i find relevant since we eat 3 meals a day daily. Although, I have to admit, i eat twice as much. Oopsy!  Second, I've always checked out sites (I won't mention them here) so that i could find out the price range of certain restaurants that i haven't tried and i have to admit their prices are inaccurate. Plus, I have always wanted to know before hand, the feel and the look of a place and there's barely any information online. So i guess, through this website, i hope i can help my readers become more informed and to be able to make good use of my experiences. This blog, through time will gradually keep on adding... But like everything that's great. I must start from a small beginning.

Anyways, Going to my first Restaurant of Choice.. SUGI!!!

Okay, so the pictures that will be shown actually came from my birthday celebration months ago.
Thank God i have a mother who loves to take pictures of almost anything and everything that we eat.
Note: I may not have accurate prices. For now, it won't be. I'm sorry. I will state if it's not accurate. When i decided to create this blog, I haven't taken any photos yet and i had to make do of any photographs i could find and try to be as accurate as possible regarding the prices. I assure you guys though, that this will only happen to the past photos and from this day forward every time i'll be have a new adventure with food.. I will get to know the menu, exact prices and take better (If not great) photos.

About Sugi....

It's one of my favorite Japanese Restaurants in the Manila. They actually have two branches, One is in Greenhills and another one located at Greenbelt in Makati. The photos here are taken at their Makati branch.

As you can see from the photo above, there were balloons and other birthday related materials. I actually celebrated my birthday here last December and it was one eventful evening filled with good food and good company. The photo above.. It's actually the 3 private rooms. Each has a divider but i asked them to remove it. If you want to just get 1 private room, It's possible. It's really nice for that intimate private feel. It's traditional japanese style, located at Sugi's 2nd Floor but they also have a Sushi Bar and the usual tables and chairs at the 1st Floor.

So, as far as i can remember, this is the Salmon Cheese Maki Roll. If i'm not mistaken.. It's around Php 380.

Now this is my favorite!!! I swear it is the best spicy tuna salad ever. Forever will be my favorite. It's around Php 350.

You can see the California Roll above.. It's around Php 340.

The one on the left is the Tori No Kaarage, It's marinated fried chicken Japanese Style.
As a person who doesn't like chicken.. This was definitely an exception. It's around Php330 as well. And the usual, on the right is Ebi Tempura it's around Php340.

As you can see, i pretty much just ordered the basic stuff during that day. There are many other food choices available that everyone should try though. I can vouch that i'm a Sugi fan and that everything on their menu is good to the tummy. You won't complain because it's authentic and it's good. Some people would find this restaurant pricey but it's worth it. Not only do they have good food and ambiance but they have good service as well. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

This is one restaurant i will always keep going back to and i will definitely post in the future other great food options found in the menu and this time with it's accurate price!

So yeah, that's me above. If you're wondering if they serve tequila rose in Sugi.. They don't. You just have to pay Php500 per bottle if you want to be able to bring it inside.

Btw, here is the link of the restaurant. Just click: SUGI.

Love, Bunny.
