Kamameshi House, TAFT

Okay, so i ate here last December. I just wanted to share that the Japanase food here is authentic. It's really good. They serve the best Kamameshi Rice!

Besides that, i never thought that i'd ever find a really good tempura. Mainly because i think they all taste alike... But this one stands out. There's something about their Tempura that makes it the best as well!

Anyways, i just wanted to share that their food is authentic. It really is. The price range is also kinda pricey for most people. It's the same price range as Sugi actually. But the thing is, it's ambiance isn't really that great. I mean, it's very old looking. It's actually a house... HAHA. And to be honest, their location is awkward. HAHA. So yeah. That's about it. Food is great, Ambiance? Not great. It's okay but it doesn't match with the food at all. Just imagine with the photo above something matching with that for the inside... HAHA.

Sumosam, GB

Okay, here are some of the photos i was able to retrieve from last February when me and my boyfriend were having lunch and it was a time when i still haven't decided that i was going to pursue a Food Blog...

Basically, i just want to let you guys know that the quality of the food through time went downhill. Actually, in the first place, it was never authentic and it's mainly fusion. But for all the fusion lovers out there, then this might have been a good place for you. But yeah, as i tried it again last month, I noticed that the sizes of their sushi are smaller and the quality isn't as good as before. But yeah, there are still orders that are good such as the Bacon Kani Maki but with the rest, i didn't love them anymore as compared to before when i'd always want to eat here. I guess it's their quality... It's not that good anymore or maybe it's my discovery of more worth it restaurants out there? Nonetheless, it wasn't bad. It's just that there are better restaurants with the same price that are more worth it. It's price range is affordable actually like Php250 for Crunchy Tuna Roll. I mean, it's more affordable compared to Sugi and whatnot but yeah. The food is okay, the ambiance is nice. But yeah, just to repeat it, there are more worth it restaurants with better quality of food for the same price and ambiance.

Kenji Tei, ATC

Before everything... I'm sorry if i don't get to frequently update this blog because of school and everything that's been going on lately and the pictures always seem to be incomplete because i get too caught up being my "takaw" self that i tend to forget to take photos of the food because i'm too busy eating everything. HAHA.

Anyways, I had lunch last week with one of my dearest friends who actually introduced me to this restaurant.

The photo above shows what the inside of Kenji Tei in Alabang Town Center Actually looks like..
The ceiling is practically like Ramen...

It's located near the Cinemas btw!

The photo above is the Crunchy Kani Maki. Compared to most restaurants that are kinda fusion and all such as Sumosam.. This one is really good! Besides it's bigger serving, I mean, it may look small in the photo but it's actually bigger than the usual serving like the ones in Sumosam.. Instead of 6 pieces, it's 8 pieces and yummier.

We actually ordered 2 plates of the Crunchy Kani Maki and one Crispy Chicken Teriyaki but we were so full already! And we're just like 2 girls.. And me being "Matakaw"... that was such a surprise.

Besides that, their Crispy Chicken Teriyaki is really good as well. For a person not into Chicken, that was another surprise.

I'm not into Ramen's but for people who are into it.. I'm guessing it's good. (Wow, i just figured i'm not into a lot of things.. HAHA) Anyways, I mean, that must be their forte being Kenji Tei RAMEN HOUSE. Besides, all the rest are good so their forte must be good.

HAHAHA I keep saying good :|

Anyways, this restaurant isn't that pricey. It's actually affordable and really worth it. For its price, it's really really good already. It's the same price range as Sumosam actually and John and Yoko. Although it has a smaller menu, their food is really good for it's price and the ambiance is nice as well.

So yeah, here is their menu:

They also have a branch in Greenbelt 5!

Hossein's, ATC

Hi Folks! I had dinner at Hossein's Alabang after watching Jack The Giant Slayer today. It was a good movie btw! Anyways, I know i just posted a blog about Hossein's, ATC (Click the link to view) recently and that i promised as soon as i eat at Hossein's again I'd come up with more pictures so here they are. The photo above is kinda blurry. I apologize in advance to future blurry photos because i don't like being seemingly obvious that i'm taking pictures... HAHA!

The photo above is actually in the 1st floor and the photo below is on the 2nd Floor...
Like i said in the previous post. Their interiors and decorations are delightful together with their food :)

So here are some of the food that we ordered that night...
Appetizers to Start it off!

Their Biryani is so good!! The Lamb is just super juicy and yummy.

So here is the MENU OF HOSSEIN'S:

Yay to accurate prices!
(Just double check the prices i listed with the last post i made before this if you like,
I was just guessing that time)

Love, Bunny.

PS. Their Raspberry shake is really good (Php240.00)

Chili's, Greenbelt + ATC

This is their Chili. The best Chili there is for me! It's also good with their bottomless tostada chips which some people call "unlimited nachos". The photo above actually only shows half of the bowl which costs Php335.00.

The photo above is the bottomless tostada chips! It's super "Sulit" simply because you can eat as much nachos as you'd like :) It's Php310.00. The cheese dip isn't part of it though.. So that would be an extra Php120.00 for the Cheese Dip.

I'm sorry i barely have photos since the photos above were taken last January 19 at Chili's Makati while the photo below was taken last January 20 in Alabang. I know, I'm such an addict. It's just so good.

The Chili's in Makati is located at Greenbelt 3... The floor above Mango. They have seats outside where everyone can gather and chill. I'd say it's more for the people who'd also want to enjoy their food while drinking their margaritas (Unlimited Margaritas + Unlimited Nachos = Imagine that) or those people who smoke or maybe just anyone who prefers the feel of the weather outside.

The Chili's in Alabang has two floors and is located near Hossein's. The first floor is the normal Chili's atmosphere with like the tables and chairs you can see from the photo below (this goes all the way to the second floor) but unlike the Chili's in Makati it's al fresco area is smaller.

Some of my favorites that i don't have a photo of are their Fish and Chips.. Lately, it's kind of my addiction. I'd always crave for fish and chips! But if you order Chili's fish and chips... You'll be full for sure right after and not just that they're delicious. They serve 5 pieces of fish and a lot of fries that goes with a corn on the cob or shredded if you'd like. My brothers love burgers. I'm not really a burger type though so yeah... But they're tasty! They're at around Php280.00-Php330.000. They're really good. I actually like Outback and Fridays as well but there's really something about Chili's that makes it my favorite overall. I'll definitely post more photos next time!

Hossein's, ATC

This was a normal sunday lunch i had with my family a few months back.
It's one of my favorite restaurants as well. What i love about Hossein's is that...
Not only do they have a superb authentic food but they also have a great ambiance and dining experience. As you can see from the photo above, they have good interiors. We had lunch at the "private" area. It's not really private because you can still hear other people but it's cool because it gives you that intimate private feel because of the "Divider" (Curtains).

So here are several photos I was able to gather...
As i have said before, I was never a fan of taking photos and these were all the photos i could find on my phone.

The photo above is the Beef and Chicken Kebab. If my memory serves me well, It's around Php900.

This is called the Sampler Platter.
I think it's around Php1000. The Sabosa was really tasty.
Actually, everything on their Menu is delicious. No sugar coating added.
Most people would find this restaurant Pricey though...
I guess this time it's really true that "You get what you pay for".
Everything is so fresh and authentic and you wouldn't be disappointed. It's worth it.
Good Food + Good Place = A+.

I recommend you guys try out their Lambs!! It's to die for.
As well as go with the Biryani as your rice. It's the yellow one.
I prefer that compared to the rest.

Basically, if you can or don't mind spending more for authentic food with a good ambiance then this is the place for you.

I'll tell you guys a secret though...

I discovered this little place called "SSS" which stands for Shawarma Snack Center. It's located at Presidents Avenue in BF Homes. It's right across Cakes 2 Go. It's a really good Kebab place as well but for a WAY CHEAPER price. One set of meal is Php250. That includes choice of Beef/Tenderloin/Chicken or whatever with whichever rice you prefer. It's really good. It's almost like Hossein's. If Hossein's is a 10 then this is a 9.5. The downside is... You have less food options and the ambiance is well.. Bad? I mean, it's unsuitable for comparison with Hossein's. At SSS, they just have plastic chairs and plastic tables. No airconditioning and such. It's more like the around the street kind of thing wherein you can hear the busy streets of BF Homes and all. BUT! If you want to experience good food for less or if you can't afford Hossein's then this is a good place to go to.

Café Jeepney, InterCon

Everything inside this blog is owned by me unless stated otherwise. That photo above, i actually just got that online because i wanted to show you guys why the restaurant is actually called "Café Jeepney". It's because the theme of the place are the Jeepneys in the Philippines. One of the "Iconic" mode of transportation found in the country.

The photo above is InterCon's Signature Dessert. It's really the best crepe in the Metro!
It's so delicious and i was just savoring each bite. I think it's around Php400.

So yeah, this was us during last last Valentines (February 14, 2012) at around 1AM.  They were actually closed/closing already, i don't know how we managed to still eat at the place though.
We decided to just get a dessert and meet up with my parents after me and my boyfriend spent Valentine's day together. I think it's actually becoming our ritual to have a "double date" right before we head home after Valentine's. But anyways, we also ordered Pizza and stuff. Not only do they serve Filipino Cuisine, they also serve Western, Asian, etc. They're all pleasant tasting but their specialty is Filipino food and it's really the Crepe Samurai that i keep going back to. It's definitely a must try for everyone who has a sweet tooth and loves Crepes!
